KATHMANDU, April 29: The Everest Hotel, a five-star hotel in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu, has started online delivery during the lockdown period. Even though the hotel was closed due to the lock down, online home delivery facility of food has been resumed.
The hotel has announced the menu on its Facebook page and started home delivery facility. As per menu, Nepali food, biryani and Indian food can be ordered. The Everest Hotel, which was closed after the 2072 earthquake, had been in operation for only a few months. The hotel, which had been providing some facilities even though it was not fully operational, was closed again to prevent the spread of corona virus.
We have been providing food service online without keeping customers in the hotel, said Narayan Poudel, an official of Everest Hotel. He said that the food is prepared by chefs and they have been delivering it as per the orders.
