Third IME JTI Grand Junior Open Tennis Tournament- 2021 begins from today

KATHMANDU, March 30: The third IME JTI Grand Junior Open Tennis Tournament-2021 under the corporate social responsibility of IME Group has started from Tuesday at Mandikhatar Tennis Club in Kathmandu. The competition was inaugurated by tennis player and cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Bhagwan Koirala. Addressing the inaugural session, Dr. Koirala wished IME Group more success in promoting such a sport.
Hemraj Dhakal, Managing Director of IME Group and Chairman of IME Foundation and Former AIG Rajendra Singh Bhandari were present on the occasion. A total of 105 players in the U8-U16 age group will take part in the tournament, which will be held till April 4, 2021.
The IME Foundation has been conducting this competition for the last four years with the main objective of helping in the development and expansion of the game of tennis and also arousing interest in sports among the children. IME Pay will be the payment partner of the competition and health related standards will be fully complied with during the competition period.
The IME Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization established under the IME Group's corporate social responsibility. The foundation has been contributing in various fields including education, health and sports.
