Three thousand devotees bathe in Gosaikunda

KATHMANDU, June 20: Three thousand devotees have bathed in Gosaikunda of  Rasuwa.

According to the proprieter of Chandrabari Hotel, Pasang Ghayurmi, the months of May and June are considered holy. Thus, more than three thousand devotees have bathed in Gosaikunda River.

Priest Tanka Prasad Dhakal said that the river is about  14 thousand feet from the sea surface, and bathing and worshipping at Gosaikunda is considered very holy and will free devotees from sins and there will be peaceful environment in the family.

According to the District Traffic Police Office, the devotees from Kathmandu,Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Jhapa, Panchthar, Kaski, Dhading, Chitwan, Makwanpur, Dhanunsha, Bara, Parsa Nawalparasi, Nuwakot, Kavre, Sindhupalchok, Ramhechap visit Rasuwa to bath in Gosaikunda..

There is no rain and shortage of foods in this season thus it makes a suitable environment for pilgrims to visit there.

Similarly, on the occasion of Janai Purnima, there is the  target of 20 thousand devotees. According to the Manager of Yak and Nak Hotel situated in Chandanbari, Pasang Ghayurmi Tamang, proper managements are done to for the pilgrims.
