TIA adds 1000 seats for waiting passengers

KATHMANDU, Mar 06: Tribhuvan International Airport is upgrading its waiting areas by installing 1000 seats for passengers waiting for flights. Airport spokesperson Premnath Thakur said that the number of seats has been increased to accommodate the growing number of passengers flocking the airport these days.

Thakur said that the older seats from the international terminal have been moved to the internal terminals for now. The number of seats in the internal terminal has also been managed to handle the regular flow of passengers.

The Ministry of Tourism informed through official twitter account that it has increased the number of seats to make the travel easier for growing number of passengers. It also informed that more facilities will be added to facilitate the passengers.
