Tikapur Park gaining attention of the tourists

DHANGADHI: 'Tikapur park' stationed in Tikapur, Kailali is gaining attraction of many tourist visiting the place.

The flowing Karnali river near park, rafting and 42 different varieties of roses in the park with the immense natural beauty is attracting by passers and tourists.
Tikapur Park is most favorable place for tourists visiting Tikapur. Increasing number of tourists in park is increasing the economic condition of the place.
"Rupees eight lakhs (Nrs) has been earned only in two weeks." said Chief of the park, Arjun Kunwar. Tourists from Nepal and SAARC member countries, come to visit the park every year during the month of Karthik to Jestha.

The park is stationed in south-east side of the market. It is said that Late King Birendra stayed in the park for one month. The park has gardens where Late King Birendra use to take rest and Late King Mahendra resting home. The park was established in 2028 B.S. and has gardens of fruits and flowers covering the area of 93 hector.
