Total 275 foreigners gets rescued by tourist police

KATHMANDU, June 12: According to the statistic provided by tourist police, altogether they have rescued 275 foreign tourists since 2018 among which 87 of them were male and 88 of them are female.
They have rescued tourists from 27 different places icluding; Dengboche, Annapurna Camp, Sagarmatha Base Camp, Charkha of Dolpa, Dole of Lukla and Dho of Dolpa, Solukhumbu, Kanchnjunga Base cam, Bhojpur, Langtang, Dolakha and Manang.
They rescues the tourists of various countries though Altitude, Manang, Air dynasty, Kailash Helicopter, Everest Heli, Summit, Tara, Shree, Prabhu and Mountain Air helicopters. The rescued tourists were treated in various hospitals of Nepal. Tourist police has been providing their service in 10 places in Valley and 13 places outside the valley.
Police inspector of tourist police, Dinesh Thapa said that most of the tourists were rescued while trekking and climbing the mountains. He also mentioned that after the various rumors regarding fake rescue they have made their security more stronger.
