Tourism entrepreneur and NPHA Treasurer dies in car accident

KATHMANDU, July 29: The Treasurer of the Nepal Paragliding and Hanggliding Association, Madhukar Subedi, has passed away due to a car accident. Subedi was travelling in a private car from Kathmandu to Pokhara with two others when the car veered off the road and fell into the Trishuli River.
The accident took place at Gajuri Village Municipality-6, Jarima of Dhading. The 51-year-old Subedi died during the course of treatment at Gajuri Hospital, informed Police Sub-Inspector Ram Bahadur K.C. The two others that were in the car, Sanu Babu Sunuwar and Shailendra Raut, managed to swim to safety.
