Tourism Entrepreneurs represent Pokhara at Bengal Travel Mart

POKHARA, Feb 18: Tourism entrepreneurs from Pokhara have successfully represented the city at the Bengal Travel Mart in Siliguri and distributed invitations to visit while also disseminating information about the city’s tourist attractions.

16 tourism entrepreneurs from Pokhara participated in the Bengal Mart alongside representatives from Eastern NATTA and NATTA Kathmandu, TAAN, and REBAN. The participation was coordinated by the Tourism Board together with Pokhara Tourism Council.

Coordinator of the program, and First Vice-President of Regional TAAN, Hari Bhujel, said that opportunities like business-to-business meetings and direct discussions with potential clients allowed the team to disseminate a lot of information about Nepal’s tourism attractions. As the Mart had the participation of not just Bengal but all of India, including its tourism businesses and those of other countries, it was a good opportunity to promote tourism in Pokhara, he informed.

The participants at the Bengal Mart included President of Pokhara Tourism Council, Kedar Sharma; Program Coordinator Hari Bhujel, President of NATTA Regional Association, Santosh Pokharel and Past President Dil Gautam; General Secretary Hariram Adhikari; Members Rajesh Pahari and Bishwaraj Acharya; Secretary of Nepal Air Sports Association, Indra Prasad Bhandari; Secretary of REBAN, Ganesh Thapa, FEDAN Treasurer Deepak Poudel; TAAN Member Milan Tiwari, Member of Female Tourism Business Forum, Sharada Bhujel, member of Tourism Transportation Committee, Prakash Kumar Shrestha, and Mohadutta Bhusal.
