Tourism Fair starts in Nepal’s Far East

KAILALI, Dec. 16: A tourism fair in Nepal’s Far East has kicked started with a slogan of “Economic Prosperity for long lasting peace” in Kailali of Nepal.
The event being organized by Kailali Industrial Commerce Association was inaugurated by newly elected MP from Kailali Constituency no 5, Narad Muni Rana.
In his inaugural speech MP Rana stressed on unity for the prosperity of the Province no. 7.
The event that was initiated about a decade ago was started with the motive to drag the attention of the concerned authorities for the development of the Far East Nepal.
The 12th Series of the Fest also has submitted its 16 point demand to the MP of the area and till date of its commencement the 5 points of the previously laid 21 demands has been completed.
The tourism fair will show case 170 stalls of agro products and restaurants pushing the number up to 250.
The organizers have expected the cost for organizing the event will stand at 8 million rupees and an trade of 150 million rupees is expected along with the footfalls of 1 million.
