Tourism Minister Yogesh Bhattarai to promote tourism by declaring Nepal as Corona Virus free Zone

KATHMANDU, Feb 18: Minister for Culture Tourism and Civil Aviation Yogesh Kumar Bhattarai has directed the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority to allow international airline companies willing to fly to Nepal. 

Minister Bhattarai has also directed the aircrafts of Nepal Airlines to target the tourism resources market of Nepal and prepare necessary flight procedures and preparations. He has given instructions in discussions with officials of Nepal Tourism Board, Secretariat and Corporation of Tourism Year on Tuesday. 

The Corona virus has also impacted the tourism of Nepal and Minister Bhattarai has directed the concerned agencies to devise alternative strategies to spread the message across the globe that Nepal is corona virus free zone. Minister Bhattarai has also directed to arrange audiovisual content in English, Hindi and Chinese languages ​​within seven days to declare Nepal Corona virus free zone, and arrange it to be kept in the Ministry, foreign-based Nepalese mission, tourism board, tour secretariat and other social networks and websites.

He is also planning to promote tourism by visiting celebrities, players, media persons, and tourists from major tourism markets in collaboration with the Nepalese Non-Resident Nepalese Association.
