Tourist Information Center of Sauraha reopened

KATHMANDU, Feb 05: The Tourist Information Center of Sauraha, Chitwan, which was closed for the past five years has been reopened. This center is used to gain information about the flora and fauna of Chitwan National Park.

The Chief Conservation Offiicer of the national park, Mr Bed Kumar Dhakal inaugurated the center and emphasized that it should be organized further. The information center facilitates tourists with the required information free of cost.
Chief of the East Sector Office of Chitwan National Park, Mr Abhinay Pathak, said that the center will be operated regularly and it has been operated again with the investment of Rs 3 lakhs.
Tourism entrepreneur and conservation officers Vasu Dhungana, Tiki Giri and Chief of Sadar Zoo, Jawalakhel, Dr. Chiranjibi Pokhrel, emphasized the need for making the information center more effective.
