Try the unique Sri Lankan food in Hotel Yak & Yeti from 25th May to 2nd June

KATHAMNDU, May 26: Embassy of Sri Lanka and Hotel Yak & Yeti, in partnership with Qatar Airways , Kathmandu has hosted an Sri Lankan Food Festival.
The Sri Lankan Food Festival started on Friday May 25th and will continue until Saturday, June 2nd at Sunrise Restaurant.
Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari , inaugurated the festival. In that period, he expressed the confidence that the food festival contributed more to the promotion of cultural relations between the two countries.
Sri Lanka's Ambassador Swarna Perera, a diplomatic relationship between Sri Lanka and Nepal, was 60 years old and said that relations between the people and people are centuries old.
Perera said,"Nepal is sacred pilgrimage for every Sri Lankan birthplace of Buddha , the religion and culture has further strengthened our relationship, such food festival also helps in expanding financial relations."
The world famous 83-year old Sri Lankan Chef, Dr, Publis Silva accompanied by his assistant chef will be joining the festival, according to the hotel Sri Lankan cuisine is one of the most diverse cuisine in terms of flavours and a variety of tasteful dishes made with the best spices.
