UNESCO world federation's president arriving

KATHMANDU, Sep 02: President of the World Federation of UNESCO Clubs, Dhirendra Bhatnagar, is arriving here on a weeklong trip.

He is arriving to participate in a national workshop on the theme of diversities of intangible art and culture scheduled to be held in Kathmandu on September 4-7, according to Federation, Nepal's president Ananda Tripathi.

Minister of State for Education, Sheshnath Adhikari, will inaugurate the event.

During his stay here, Mr Bhatnagar is scheduled to visit Nepal's UNESCO world heritage sites, Pokhara and Tanahu as well.

He will pay a courtesy call on the President, Prime Minister and the Education Minister and also meet with representatives of UNESCO related government, non government and international organisations.
