Viewing tower set up at Bayadanda of Chapakot

WALING , July 1: A viewing tower has been set up at Bayadanda at Chapakot Municipality – 10 in Syangja.
The viewing post was constructed under a project undertaken by Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation's regional office in Pokhara.
"The locals contributed in the project with a donation of 1.13 ropanis of land which was transferred in the name of Chapakot Municipality," Dhanasa Tourism Destination Development Committee Secretary Gopi Bhattarai shared. "The inner portion of the construction of the viewing tower has been completed at a cost of Rs 4.1 million," he added.
The four-story tower has 365 stairs leading to the top. Committee's Chairman, Buddhiman Shrestha, said the construction is in the final stages.
The tower offers a panoramic view of Chapakot town, Palpa's Rampur Municipality including some parts of Nawalparasi, Tanahun, Gulmi and Parbat districts.
