The visit, organized in collaboration with the Tourism Board, took place on 17 and 18 February. The team of visitors included representatives from the Tourism Board, TAAN President Navaraj Dahal, past President of VITOF Shiva Lamichhane, and other tourism entrepreneurs and reporters, informed VITOF President Kamal Sapkota.

The visit of one night and two days would act as a bridge between tourists, tourism entrepreneurs, and the village, said Sapkota. VITOF Nepal had made an agreement with the Tourism Board to collaborate on developing three villages across the nation as model villages for remote tourism and promote the villages accordingly.

Kunchhal Village, which lies in Thaha Municipality, is a beautiful place with scenic beauty, rich local culture and cuisine, and also the scope for agricultural tourism. The village lies three hours’ drive away from Kathmandu.
