Yeti Airlines: Adding 5 aircrafts investing 4.5 billion rupees

KATHMANDU, Sep 24: The domestic flight operator of the country has announced to buy 5 aircrafts by investing 4 billion rupees. Within this year, Yeti airlines has deiced to buy ATR 72 seated aircraft along with 3 ATR 72-500 series and 2 ATR 42-320 series aircraft having 47 seats from the company of France. Yeti airlines have completed 2 decades of its excellence in aviation sector this Friday.

 

Mr. Bhim Raj Rai, Ground Handling Manager of Yeti Airlines stated that they have planned to add 5 aircrafts within this year and for that we are planning to invest 4.5 billion rupees. We will be introducing ATR 72 by the end of this year. Yeti airlines have plans to add the number of flights within the same destinations. Mr. Rai further said that they have been adding the aircrafts as per the demand of the passengers.

The airline presently owns 6 BAE Jetstream 41 and 2 ATR 72-500 operating flights to Biratnagar, Pokhara, Bhadrapur, Bharatpur, Janakpur, Bhairahawa, and Nepalgunj along with mountain flights while its subsidiary Tara Air fleet includes two Dornier Do 228, three De Havilland Canada DHC-6-300 Twin Otter and one Viking Air DHC-6-400 Twin Otter operating flights to Simikot, Jomsom, Bajura, Jumla, Lukla, Phaplu Rara and so on.
