Yeti Airlines escapes accident at Pokhara Airport

POKHARA, June 17:  An aircraft belonging to Yeti Airlines Jetstream-41 call sign ‘9N-AHU has narrowly escaped from an accident at Pokhara Airport on Sunday.

According to the airport authority, the plane had a hydraulic failure while taxiway at the airport and skidded off to the grassland 20 meter away from the runway, Kashinath Poudel, spokesperson of Pokhara Airport said.

30 passengers and 3 crew members were aboard the flight  which landed at 2:25 PM.

It was handled by pilot Lok Chand and co-pilot Monika Prajapati.
