Yeti Airlines to resume its mountain flights from September 26

KATHMANDU, Sep 22: The mountain flight of Yeti Airlines, which was halted after the second lockdown, will resume on September 26. There are signs of some improvement in the weather and September-March is considered suitable for mountain flights, said Sudarshan Bartaula, Spokesperson of Yeti Airlines.
For now, bookings are open for one flight every Sunday. We have planned to have one mountain flight from ATR-72 every Sunday and we have taken a policy of gradually increasing the number of flights as per the demand of the passengers. For now, Nepali and Indian citizens will be able to purchase mountain flight tickets at an attractive fare of Rs 8,848 / - equal to the height of Mount Everest.
For the resident foreign nationals, the fare has been fixed at Rs 13,275, said Bartaula. Yeti had also flown at the same fare on the mountain flight that opened after the first lockdown. Yeti, which has brought separate packages for Nepali passengers and resident foreign nationals, has fixed Rs 9,848 and Rs 14,775 for two tickets respectively.
By purchasing this ticket, passengers will get a seat with one window and other next to it. Mountain flight tickets can be purchased through the nearest travel agency, Yeti's mobile app and online, the company said.
