Yeti starts its service with the introduction of ATR

KATHMANDU, August 20: Yeti Airlines have started its commercial flight introducing its new ATR Aircraft. Previously, it has been providing service with the Jet Steam Aircraft and now it has started its service with the new aircraft which it received on July, 22.

It is the first time that the Yeti Airlines have started its commercial flight with the introduction of ATR 72-700 series aircraft from French company. It made its debut flight to Bhairahawa but the first commercial was to Nepalgunj.

The newly arrived aircraft will make daily flights to Nepalgunj and Biratnagar whereas it is planning flights to Bhairahawa and Bhadrapur with the arrival of second ATR aircraft.

The 72 seater ATR-500 aircraft is assumed to be suitable for the airports in the Southern Plains of Nepal and is proved as boon to make flights to the destinations which have more passenger flow.

The Yeti Airlines of Nepal brought in ATR 72-500 by expending about a billion rupees through its Singapore Agent and is set to bring additional two aircraft of same series within a year.
