Best Airlines Award Nepal 2022 to be held  December 13

KATHMANDU, Nov 17: The Best Airlines Award will be held for the first time in Nepal. The Best Airlines Award Nepal 2022 will be announced in a special ceremony on December 13, with the intention of making the sector more consumer-oriented and responsive to the people, appreciating the contribution made by the aviation sector in Nepal's tourism sector.

The Best Airlines Award in Nepal is given in 16 different categories, 3 categories are reserved only for Nepali Airlines. Airlines operating international flights from Nepal will compete in 11 categories. In addition, the best in the 2 categories will be selected from among the various partners who play a role in making aviation safe and comfortable.

The jury of this award, which will be determined based on the public opinion broadcasted through various media and the decision of the jury, includes Shekhar Golcha, President of Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Ambika Shrestha, President of Hotel Dwarika and Honorary Consul of Spain for Nepal, Shreejana Rana, President of Hotel Association Nepal, Prabin Bahadur Pandey President of School Club of Kathmandu, CN Pandey,Former President of NATTA,Bibhuti Chand Thakur President of PATA Nepal Chapter, Bed Upreti Chief Executive Officer of Aviation Museum, ​Mahesh Swar, Chief Executive Officer of Kantipur Media Group Anil Keshari Shah, Chairman of Lead Nepal Inc., Arun Chaudhary Chairman of CG Holdings and Founder Chairman of Nepal Non-residential Association Upendra Mahato.

This Best Airlines Award, which will be organized in partnership with the Nepal Tourism Board, will be contested by 9 domestic airlines out of 27 airlines that are currently flying to various international destinations through Kathmandu. In order to strengthen the fairness and dignity of this award, the organizer has stated that no financial support, nomination fee or sponsorship will be taken from any kind of financial support, nomination fee or sponsorship with the airlines and organizations associated with the airline business operating as service providers in Nepal.
