5th PATA Youth Talent Quest Kicks off

KATHMANDU, Jan 06: The 5th PATA Youth Talent Quest (YTQ2023) kicks off  5th January 2023, with a Tourism and Hospitality Quiz at Mid-Valley International College, Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu. 

The Global College International won the Hospitality and Tourism Quiz Competition represented by students Ms Tshering Thokar, Mr Bijay Kumar Chaudhary and Mr Ishan Nepal.

Similarly, Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (represented by Mr Apil Maharjan, Mr Kshitiz Acharya and Mr Bibek Mishra) and Mid-Valley international College (represented by Ms Christina Parsai, Mr Chandra Prakash Kunwar and Ms Dawa Jangmu Sherpa) stood 1st Runner up and 2nd Runner respectively. 

PATA Nepal Chapter is organizing the 5th  Youth Talent Quest in collaboration with the PATA Nepal Student Chapter, and support from various organizations and sponsors, including the Supporting Partner- Manakamana Cable Car; Banking Partner- Nabil Bank; Airlines Partners- Buddha Air; Hospitality Partners- KGH Group of Hotels, Seven Lakes Resort Hotel and Chandragiri Hills Resort; Community Tourism Partner- Community Homestay; Adventure Partners- HighGround Adventures and Trekking Venue Nepal; Venue Partners (hosts): Mid-Valley International College (MVIC), Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hospitality Education (NATHM) and Little Angels’ College of Management (LACM). 

The next event under the 5th Youth Talent Quest includes PATA Young Tourism Professional Chefs Competition and Content Writing Competition to be held on 7th January at NATHM college. 

Youth Talent Quest (YTQ) is an annual event by PATA Nepal Chapter as a part of its engagement with Young Tourism Professionals (YTPs) that provides a platform among the students from PATA Nepal Chapter member colleges to compete and showcase their multifaceted talents, knowledge, and skills. It aims to uncover talented young tourism professionals, and further empower them with the necessary training, involvement, and exposure to PATA Nepal Chapter programs and activities, and engage them in the best possible way to carve their successful future endeavors.
