Hotel Pauwa opens in Pokhara

POKHARA, March 22: Hotel Pauwa Pvt Ltd has begun offering hospitality services on Pokhara's lakeside.

With the basic mantra of 'where hospitality begins,' Pauwa, located at Lakeside Street No. 1, has opened its 11th branch.

Hotel Pauwa is about to formally launch the branch operation, which will include a variety of programs.

According to Bishnu Gyawali, Managing Director of Hotel Pauwa, on the occasion of the inauguration, various programs such as a food test, inter-departmental competition between chefs from all branches of Pauwa, and a conference on Nepali hospitality will be held on March 24, 25, and 26.

The well-equipped hotel building with a garden has 39 comfortable rooms, including a super deluxe and mini suite. Each room has air conditioning and high-speed internet access. According to the company, the room has a beautiful view of Shanti Stupa and Raniban, as well as the Machhapuchhre and Annapurna mountains.

There are two seminar hall and conference hall at the hotel. The hotel also has a "Fewa Hall" with a capacity of over 1,000 people, according to the company.

Gyawali also invited everyone to come to Pauwa and taste the food during a press conference held on Wednesday to inform them about the various programs, including the opening program.

Hotel Pauwa will be officially inaugurated on March 24th at 10 a.m. by Gandaki Province Chief Minister Khagraj Adhikari.

The Covid pandemic has had a negative impact on Nepal's entire tourism industry. The hotel industry was hit even harder. However, with the increasing arrival of foreign tourists, the hotel industry has recently begun to operate, according to Gyawali.

Investing in hotels is still difficult. 'However, we have come to Pokhara to turn this challenge into an opportunity by expanding Hotel Pauwa,' Gyawali explained. 'We have entered Pokhara because we have experience that hotel business can be run if the right combination of domestic and international tourists is made.'
