Sticker visa mandatory for Nepali citizens visiting to Indonesia

KATHMANDU, Nov 30:The Indonesian Embassy in Dhaka, which also serves Nepal, has stated that a sticker visa is mandatory requirement for Nepalis citizens to visitIndonesia from Nepal.

According to the embassy, new arrangements have been made as a result of difficulties encountered while processing e-visas through various agencies in Indonesia and Nepal.

The embassy issued a circular and suggested that all visa-related work proceed through the honorary consular office in Kathmandu, Indonesia.

After evaluating the errors in the e-visa application process, the embassy has also requested that no e-visas be applied for when traveling from Nepal to Indonesia.

The Honorary Consul of Indonesia for Nepal, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, stated that initiatives are being taken to facilitate visa on arrival when traveling from Nepal to Indonesia, and that the embassy and the Indonesian government have implemented a new arrangement to further facilitate the existing process for the convenience of Nepali citizens.
