Shree Airlines will operate Kathmandu-Surkhet flights from December 1

KATHMANDU, Nov 30:Shree Airlines will fly from Kathmandu to Surkhet. Shree Airlines will begin flights on December 1.

Shree Airlines had applied to the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) for permission to operate one daily flight between Kathmandu and Surkhet. The CAAN has granted permission to fly in that area.

Gyanendra Bhul, co-spokesman for the CAAN, stated that the CAAN has approved Shree Airlines' request for one flight per day between Kathmandu and Surkhet.

Shree Airlines spokesperson Anil Manandhar confirmed that the 80-seater Q400-8 aircraft will fly from Kathmandu to Surkhet.

Shree Airlines will fly from Kathmandu to Surkhet at 7:15 a.m., according to Manandhar. Manandhar stated that as demand grows, the number of flights will be increased as well. Buddha Air currently operates two daily flights in that area.
