Nepal and Rwanda signed air service agreement

KATHMANDU, Dec 11:The Ministry of Tourism has actively advanced air service agreements to connect Nepal with other nations across the world. The Ministry of Tourism is attempting to expand tourism and business in the two countries by connecting them via an air network.

According to the same proposal, an air agreement has been struck between Nepal and Rwanda, and the agreement with Switzerland is nearing completion. Nepal's flight destination has expanded to 41 countries as a result of the agreement with Rwanda.


According to Budhisagar Lamichhane, joint secretary of the ministry, the goal of establishing an air agreement is to aid in the promotion of tourism and trade. According to him, after the agreement with Rwanda, both countries' airlines will be able to begin the flight procedure.

He informed me that the preparations for signing an air agreement with Switzerland have reached the final stage. According to him, the way of agreement has been opened by the Council of Ministers. Apart from this, a proposal to enter into an air agreement with Indonesia has also reached the cabinet.
