Maulakali Cable Car to issue IPO

KATHMANDU, Jan 23:Maulakali Cable Car in Gaindakot, Nawalpur, plans to issue ordinary shares. This decision was made during the company's seventh annual general meeting, which took place recently.

The company's president, Chandra Prasad Dhakal, informed us that the hotel now under construction at Cable Car Top Station is nearing completion and will be open within the next six months.

He stated that the local discount formerly offered to inhabitants of Gaindakot Ward Nos. 1 and 2 will now be extended to all Gaindakot municipality citizens. The Maulakali Cable Car has been active since May of last year. Suraj Paudel, station manager, informed that more than 2 lakh 15 thousand persons have traveled by Cable Car.
