Resunga Airport to operate four flights in week

GULMI, Jan 23:Resunga Airport in Gulmi will operate four flights per week. There are now just two flights per week, but agreements have been made to increase to four flights beginning in the third week of February.

The first commercial flight took place at Resunga Airport on 12th May. Due to high passenger traffic, the flight was operated twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Khil dhoj Panthi, the head of Resunga municipality, stated that because to the large number of passengers, plans are being made to fly four days a week. Preparations are being made to renegotiate with the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) and the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), he stated.

Resunga has held 64 flights to date. Eight hundred and fifteen travelers have used the service. The majority of patients with serious diseases, old age citizens, and disabled people have taken advantage of the plane's services.
