Hotel Pauwa is being constructed in Nepalgunj

NEPALGUNJ, March 10:A five-star hotel will be constructed in Nepalgunj of Banke, which is considered as the major trading point of western Nepal, with an investment around one billion rupees.

The foundation stone for Hotel Pauwa was placed on a two-bigha plot in Janki Rural Municipality-3 Manpur, Banke. This hotel is situated on Khajura Road near Hulaki highway.

According to Engineer Pradeep Bhandari, the intention is to complete the building work within two years.

According to Bhandari, the new hotel will feature five restaurants with a variety of flavors and delicacies, four large assembly halls, 14 meeting spaces, seven sweet rooms, and 80 deluxe rooms.

Durga Prasad Bhandari, President of Hotel Pauwa Pvt Ltd, stated that the five-star hotel now under development in Manpur is expected to cost one billion rupees.

He explained that because Nepalgunj is a popular tourist destination in western Nepal, the investment was made with the intention of visiting Mansarovar, Banke, and Bardia National Parks from here.

"Banke and Bardia National Parks have not received as much publicity as they should have," remarked Chairman Bhandari.

He argued that even the provincial government has not done what it should do in the development of the tourism sector and the future, as the structures of the province are increasing, they have started to invest more than one billion only in the five-star hotel Nepalgunj given the increasing number of tourists in the future.

"Our goal is to build the most convenient and excellent hotel in Nepalgunj city, which has great potential in our province," Bhandari, the president, said. "We believe that this will make an incomparable contribution to the promotion of tourism in Western Nepal."

He asserted that every Pauwa Hotel branch will provide guests with a homey atmosphere.

He stated that Hotel Pauwa strives to deliver hospitality as if a guest were visiting a relative's home.

This hotel, built in Nepalgunj, will be Pauwa Pvt Ltd's 13th branch.

Seven years ago, Hotel Pauwa Pvt Ltd began its business investment in Saljhandi, Rupandehi, with the goal of branding Nepali hospitality. Following that, branches were established in Bhairahawa, Lamhi in Dang, Bhaluwang, Palpa, Gulmi, Jumla, Dhangadhi, Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Sauraha in Chitwan, among other locations.

The hotel currently provides services in all provinces except Koshi and Madhes.

Pauwa Pvt Ltd plans to open two more branches this fiscal year. According to Chairman Bhandari, a study of hotel operations in Koshi province is being done, and preliminary plans have been established for hotel operations in Janakpur, Madhesh province, if possible.
