Nepal Telecom expands affordable rates for data roaming to 28 countries

KATHMANDU:Nepal Telecom provides data roaming services at a considerably cheaper rate than previously for users who use Nepal Telecom SIM cards abroad.

Nepal Telecom users who are abroad use the data roaming service the most, and according to the agreement made with the roaming partners in the country where the service is being operated, the tariff rate has been significantly reduced, allowing the service to be operated at a cheaper rate.

According to this, Nepal Telecom postpaid and prepaid SIM users will be able to access data roaming services at a low cost when they join the network of roaming partners in 28 countries around the world.

Data roaming service will now be offered at cheap rates in Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belgium, Canada, China, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, and Korea via Nepal Telecom's postpaid and prepaid SIMs.

Similarly, data roaming services can be used at cheap rates in Malaysia, Myanmar, Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, UAE, UK, USA and Vietnam.

Customers must have started the international roaming service before using the data roaming function. While in Nepal, postpaid and prepaid clients can activate international roaming by dialing *1415*7# from their phones, while prepaid customers can do so through the Nepal Telecom app.
