Tara Air resumes Pokhara-Jomsom flights

KATHMANDU, March 13:Tara Air resumed Pokhara-Jomsom flights after a three-month hiatus to coincide with the tourist season. Rapke T Sherpa, Tara Air's ground handling manager, announced that the company has begun five daily flights from Pokhara to Mustang, targeting tourists.

Jomsom Airport is 20 minutes from Pokhara. He stated that the airlines had set the fares for Nepalese at 5,904 rupees, Indians at 11,098 rupees, and third countries (foreigners) at 160 US dollars.

Recently, most Indian tourists have visited Muktinath, a prominent religious site in Mustang. The number of tourists traveling to various tourist areas in Mustang via Jomsom is also increasing.

Summit Air has already begun flights to Jomsom several weeks ago.
