Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank provides scholarship to student

KATHMANDU:Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has given Jeevan Rajbanshi, a student at Kadambari Academy in Shreepur Birgunj, the Late Hira Giri Jehendar Scholarship for class ten.

Shyam Sundar Rungta, a member of the Board of Directors of Hira Giri Jehendar Scholarship Bank, which was founded in memory of Mr. Hira Giri, the founder chairman of Mahalakshmi Finance, an important organization of Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank, handed over to Bhabarlal Parik, president of Aamako Maya hostel.

According to the bank, a 50,000 rupee scholarship has been awarded to children who thrive academically but come from low-income families.

Speaking at the ceremony, Shyam Sundar Rungta, a member of the bank's board of directors, stated that quality education is essential since kids are the country's future leaders.

Bhawarlal Parik, President of Aamako Maya Hostel, stated that such scholarships will contribute to quality education and thanked the bank for its support.

The bank stated that it will enhance its corporate social responsibility operations in the coming days.
