Global IME Bank launches Green Drive "Auto Loan" Scheme

KATHMANDU:Global IME Bank has launched the Green Drive plan, which offers a minimum interest rate to promote electric vehicles under auto loans.

This scheme will provide a loan at a fixed interest rate of 9.49 percent to 9.99 percent for the purchase of a four-wheeler for personal use.

The interest rate is fixed at 9.49 percent for loans up to 5 years and 9.99 percent for loans longer than 5 years.

The Bank believes that the scheme, which has been introduced at a fixed interest rate with a minimum, will benefit customers who want to drive electric vehicles because loans are easily accessible.

The bank operates over 1,100 service outlets, which include 354 branch offices, 379 ATMs, 277 branchless banking services, 67 extension and revenue collection counters, and three international representative offices.

The bank has stated that it has made major contributions to the country's economy by bringing in remittances from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, Hong Kong, and other nations.
