Machhapuchhre Bank constructed eight toilets in Shree Shaileshwari school

KATHMANDU:Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd. constructed and handed over a toilet to Shree Shaileshwari Higher Secondary School in Badehan, Godavari Municipality-6 of Kailali, Sudurpaschim Province, as part of its corporate social responsibility.

During a formal ceremony on Thursday, the bank handed off eight toilets to the school's management committee and administration.

Speaking at the toilet handover ceremony, Godavari Municipality-6 Ward Chairman Jaharu Saud thanked Machhapuchhre Bank Ltd for its assistance to Kailali district's government school.

He voiced his conviction that if other organizations, such as Machhapuchhre Bank, did similar work with local entities, the educational quality of all government schools in the country would be considerably enhanced.

Speaking at the event, the Bank's General Manager, Prashantraj Aryal, stated that the bank had built infrastructure in Shaileshwari High School after receiving information that the school was experiencing problems with teaching and learning due to the inconvenience of the toilet, which is critical to the school's operation.

During the function, Khagraj Pathak, chairman of the school management committee, praised Machhapuchhre Bank's humanitarian effort for his school, saying that such support will provide motivation to run the school.

The bank built a toilet and a safety tank at Shree Shaileswari Higher Secondary School, which has around 1800 pupils and 35 teachers and staff.
