Poor visibility affects flights in Simara Airport

KATHMANDU, April 07:Simara Airport's flight on Sunday has been affected by low "visibility" in the Terai region.

Simara's scheduled flights are 'delayed' today. According to the private airline Buddha Air, flights to Simara have been canceled until this morning due to poor visibility.

The reduced visibility surrounding Simara Airport is due to smoke from local fires and agricultural burning practices by farmers in the area.

According to the company, flights are normal in other airports of Terai.
